Tarpon fishing here in Tampa Bay has been red hot lately with numerous hook ups. Many charters lately have been experiencing between five to twelve hook ups a day. Tarpon have been averaging over a hundred pounds. The bite should continue throughout the remainder of the summer. Spanish jacks, speckled trout, and shark have also been cooperative. This bite should also continue for the remainder of the summer. If you have ever dreamed of doing battle with the majestic "Silver King", now is the time to get out and catch the tarpon of a lifetime.
